We’re hiring!

We’re looking for Third Base Assistants and a Third Base Director for our programs. KCSCEP Site Assistants start at $15/hr and KCSCEP Site Directors start at $18.50/hr. These are part-time, temporary contract positions with no benefits. The hours are Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. when school is in session. We currently have openings for Site Assistants at Elk, Holz, Overbrook, Pinch, Pt Harmony, and Ruthlawn. A Site Director is need for Bridgeview. Third Base Enrollment Status Emails Coming Soon!

Third Base enrollment status emails will be going out soon. Those families who were already identified as being on a wait list were notified at the beginning of summer break so that they would have time to find another childcare provider. As sites become full, we will notify those on the wait list upon receipt of the enrollment form.

In the email, your status will either be Enrolled, Wait List or Temporary Wait List. If you are on a Temporary Wait List, it means that we do not have enough staff at the moment and as soon as we are able to hire new staff, we will notify you that your child can start. We must have 1 staff person for every 16 children, so if we do not have enough staff when school starts, we may have to delay your child’s start date.

Offices closed June 1-5

All KCS offices are closed June 1-5. Our office reopens on June 8.

Elk Summer Camp is Full

Elk Summer Camp has reached its enrollment capacity. Anyone who submits an enrollment form will be placed on a wait list.

Central Summer Camp is Full for 2026

Central Summer Camp has reached its enrollment capacity. If Central SC is your first choice, your child’s name will be placed on a wait list. You may indicate a second choice and your child can be enrolled and attend at that site (pending space availability) while remaining on the Central SC wait list. If space becomes available, you can transfer there at that time.

Summer Camp Confirmation Notices

5/5/26 – The confirmation emails for Summer Camp will be going out over the next few days. The confirmation will be sent to the email indicated on the enrollment form. We appreciate your patience as this will take several days to accomplish. If you have not received a confirmation email by next week, please call or email our office. Thank you!

Overbrook Summer Camp is Full for 2026

Overbrook Summer Camp has reached its enrollment capacity.  If Overbrook SC is your first choice, your child’s name will be placed on a waiting list. You may indicate a second choice and your child can be enrolled and attend at that site (pending space availability) while remaining on the Overbrook SC waiting list. If space becomes available, you can transfer there at that time.

2026-2027

The Enrollment Forms for the 2026-2027 school year and Summer Camp 2026 will be available at 7 a.m. or shortly after. Only a form that has 2026-2027 can be accepted.

Open Enrollment

Open enrollment for Third Base 2026-2027 and for Summer Camp 2026 begins on April 1, 2026.

At that time, the program enrollment forms will be available on our website. Under Programs, select either Third Base 2026-2027 or Summer Camps. For more information, email KCSCEP@mail.kana.k12.wv.us or call 304-766-0378.

2025 Statements

Need a 2025 statement of Third Base and/or Summer Camp expenses for your taxes or flex spending account? Here are three ways to get yours:

MyProcare.com – Log into your MyProcare account online. Select Reports. Under Customer Statement, select Run Report. Select the date range and run report. Print (you may have to right click to print). Don’t have a MyProcare account? Contact us to have a new link sent to you from Procare.

On Site – Ask your Site Director to print the statement for you.

KCSCEP Office — You can email us at KCSCEP@mail.kana.k12.wv.us and request your statement be sent by email. Please include your name, your child’s name, and the name of the Third Base and/or Summer Program your child attended. You can also call us at 304-766-0378.
